Introduction

Welcome to the blog dedicated to Nelson Mandela. Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela was a man who over came great difficulties and triumphed in the face of adversity. His efforts freed the country of South Africa from the Apartheid and segregation. He was imprisoned for twenty seven years and while in prison his fame grew to unprecedented heights. He later became president of South America. He is most influential person in South American history and one of the most influential people in the world. When I first started researching about him I thought that I knew about most of his achievements. However, after further research I found that he is not someone that can be summed up in a couple sentences or even an essay because he led a life time of great achievements.
